The next meeting is a Fungal Foray at the Alms Houses, Hemsworth WF9 4PW on Monday 14 October 10.30 am

Here is a message from Joyce about the next meeting:

This is a return visit to the incredible fungi of the Alms Houses just outside Hemsworth, led by Francis Higginbottom.

The lawns of the Alms Houses have not had any fertilizer or weedkiller for at least 150 years allowing a collection of extremely rare fungi to grow.

If you missed our last visit do try to come, you will be charmed.

Bring lunch. Francis has arranged for us to use the community hall there to eat our sandwiches. Tea and coffee will be provided.
