Doncaster Microscopical & General Science Society

The Session will commence on
Wednesday next, November 28, 1883
when an
EXHIBITION MEETING
will be held i the Grammar School (by kind permission of the
Rev. George Smith, M.A., Headmaster), at 8 p.m.

The Meeting, which will be somewhat similar to a small Conversazione, will be open to any friends that the Members may choose to bring with them.

All having Microscopes, or anything else to exhibit, are asked to communicate at once with the Secretary, and it is hoped that each individual member will endeavour to make this – the first meeting of the kind, a success.

A Special Series of rare living objects for the Microscope, from Mr. T. Bolton of Birmingham, and other naturalists, with a number of interesting scientific instruments, will be on view.

The Secretary will be glad to receive the names of a few members willing to assist in the preliminary arrangements.
